J A Henckels 13 Slot In Drawer Knife Looks great in my drawer, does its job
J.A. Henckels 13-Slot In-Drawer Knife Tray Read more... Sharpener slot large enough for 10-inch tool Made of wood; fits most kitchen drawers; 17-by-9-by-2 inches Top level also suitable for six steak knives Bi-level display, with top holding blades to 5 inches, bottom to 10 inches Safely, conveniently stores 12 knives and sharpening steel in drawer
Alllllmost perfect This knife block works great in my drawer. Only problem is that the big knife is a little thicker than the regular knives so as a result it sticks up a little bit but not a bad thing really. I'm glad I bought this. Saves so much counter space.
Looks great in my drawer does its job I bought this tray because I found myself with a few more knives than I had room in my block mostly short knives with a couple of longer ones and needed a place where they'd stay safe. It does its job as well as you could expect it to with all my knives sitting still in their proper places every time I open and close its drawer. It also looks great it sits in a what I imagine is a standard size silverware drawer taking up most of the length but leaving plenty of width on either side for me to keep related objects and still feel organized. I couldn't have asked for a better product for my use case.
Title!!! Exactly as described. Fits the drawer perfectly. Protects my sharp knives.Easy to get the knives and easy to replace same.
Great space saver! I admired this knife tray in my sister's kitchen and had to have one for myself. It fits beautifully in the drawer corrals the knives in a much smaller space. Don't know how I lived without it all these years. I also like having this in a drawer so I can clear some counter space by no longer having a knife block that didn't hold enough knives. It is sturdy wellmade and I recommend it.
almost perfect for any kitchen Product safely stores the knives but still annoyed by the way smaller knives are stored. The product has grooves for the smaller knives and it securely and easily stores them. It's when you try to take the knives out where the problem arises. You either have to pinch between the two bigger knife blades to access the handle of the smaller knife or attempt to scoop the knife from the long end of the handle. If the smaller steak knife is full size and fills the grooves then you really can't put your finger or fingers in there to take the knives out.
Great knife tray It's a great tray for keeping knives organized and secure in the drawer. We much prefer it over the wood block on the kitchen counter. We're not a fan of clutter on the counters.
Love love love this knife drawer tray! This knife drawer tray keeps my sharp knives organized and safe from cutting me. I just reach in and the handles are in the correct possition to pick them up. The sturdy wood does not break down. I have small drawers and this 13 slot tray fit perfectly. Well worth the price. Shipping was super fast too. You just can't go wrong if you have quality knives to put in this tray.
Solid I bought this for a couple of reasons I want to clear my counters of unnecessary clutter and the old standing knifeblock was ugly and a magnet for grease and dust. I also like this style better than the other bamboo indrawer knife block. It has plenty of space but if it doesn't you probably have too many knives. I'm of the school that says you only need 3 or 4 good ones.
awesome knife tray
A nice alternative to the block on the counter I've found this to be a viable solution to knife storage. Of course that's assuming you have an extra kitchen drawer to spare. After a couple of days I was used to reaching into the drawer to pull out knives but now I like not having them on the counter. The only negatives I've found about this item is that bigger blades like my Shun Ken Onion or my Shun Bob Kramer don't sit far enough down into the slots. The result in my case is that the tips of the blades are exposed resting above the slot in the back of the drawer. Could be a problem if someone reached into the back of the drawer. Then again if they're dim enough to do such a thing they may just deserve the poke they'd receive. Another note the small slots really only accommodate small blades. My 5 utility knife doesn't fit and I don't have any big slot remaining to house it.The tray itself seems very sturdy and solid and I expect it will last for years.

OXO Good Grips Dough Blender Sturdy blender
OXO Good Grips Dough Blender Read more... Safe to clean in the dishwasher Measures 5 by 5-1/4 by 2 inches Broad, soft handle absorbs pressure and is non-slip for a secure grip Designed with sturdy stainless-steel blades; makes quick, efficient work of preparing crumb toppings and pastries Cut butter or margarine into flour for great pie and pastry crusts with this heavy-duty dough blender
Great product After struggling for a few years with horribly flimsy wire pastry cutters I wanted one like Mom always had.
Soild and wellmade I use the dough blender to make biscuits scones and any other item that needs butter blended into the dough. This product works well is very sturdy and cleans easily using my nylon scrubbing brush.
Doesn't work as well as standard blender Oxo calls this a dough blender indicating it's the bladed type. You might also want to search for this kitchen tool under the term pastry blender which is wired.I wanted to try this design but it doesn't work as well for me as the wire type. Some folks prefer this bladed type and I think if you do a lot of recipes where you're 'cutting in' cold butter/lard this would work well for you.I'm usually using this to make streusel and other softbutter recipes so the wire type works best and I'm going back to it.
works well Works really well. I had thrown out my old dough blender which wasn't working so well anymore and had tried using a fork which was a nightmare. I got this and used it the following day to make pies for Christmas. The dough blended really easily and it was really comfortable on my hands. It seems very well ergonomically designed as I made several pies and my hand didn't cramp at all like it used to with my old one.
Dough Blender I do enjoy using my Oxo Good Grips dough blender. It blends together lots of ingredients. It does so much better with pie dough than the old way of trying to use two knives together to separate and mix the dough.
works great This is a sturdy tool. It's SO much better than the cheap one I had. The handle won't turn and slip and the blades are stronger.
Good product Its solid and seems to be built well. Works great for mashing potatoes and anything else that needs mashing. I would buy this again.
Bad Design. I bought this at Walmart and the first time I used it it broke. The side of the handle pop out as soon as you put any pressure on it. Then gets butter in it and never works again. Not a good design.
Sturdy blender Ordered this one because the ones in the stores were too flimsy but this one is great. Good for blending up hard butter with flour.
Good Pastry blender I use this all the time for making scones. It is comfortable to use and does a good job. Looked at many but glad I selected this one.

Micro Egg Microwave Cooking Cup rubbery egg white
Micro Egg Microwave Egg Cooking Cup Read more... Perfect for standalone eggs or eggs for making eggs Benedict, deviled eggs and Meurette Dishwasher safe Make soft boiled eggs in 30-second and hard boiled eggs in 50-second Easy and safe to use Microwave egg cooker
my daughter loves this! My daughter loves this quick way to get an egg for breakfast.
rubbery egg white microwaves cook from the outside to the inside but fast.I tried cooking at full power and found the egg white rubbery.I then tried cooking at 6/10 power and the white was less rubbery but the yolk was more runny.Maybe there's no way to avoid rubbery white with cooked yolk or runny yolk with nonrubbery white.
Looks cute but works poorly Sadly I have to agree with many of the other reviewers. The micro egg cup is a great idea that just doesn't work very well. I have tried the other reviewers' suggestionspoking the yolk with a toothpick experimenting with the timing etc.but to no avail. The results are chronically inconsistent. Eggs from the same carton cooked for the same amount of time come out differently. The egg invariably gets hard boiled or overcooked on the top but there's still raw white on the bottom. The best solution seems to be to cook an egg for a little while scrape off the cooked top and then put the raw part back in for 10 seconds or so until it's cooked as well.I haven't had any staining but the egg white does stick to the container more than I'd like making it a bit of a pain to wash. For some reason I can't return it either. A disappointing product and now I'm stuck with it.
Micro Egg quick & easy Micro Egg is a quick and easy way to poach a single egg. In only 45 seconds you can have tasty egg and the cleanup is easy. After buying my first one I have purchased several for friends. The price is very reasonable too.
Eggs are not meant to be microwaved This was a horrible experience that I had with these little guys. No manual in the package that says a hole must be made in the egg with a toothpick or something like that I learned it from the reviews here that I should make a hole Second with or without a hole in the eggshell the egg was undercooked for the time advertised.
Microwave egg cup Works as promised. I could never make softboiled eggs that were not too runny or too hard. This works great.
Micro Egg only micro disappointing Being a girl who loves me some boiled eggs the idea that in a mere 30 60 seconds I could have my very own unending supply seemed fantastic and at the price of $.60 or so it seemed I couldn't go wrong. The plasticine eggshaped container arrived very quickly in a boxed set of two. So far so good. Open looking the box over three times I noticed there were no instructions. No problem. It's a microwavable boiled egg maker how hard could it be?First thing I did was put a raw egg shell and all in the cup placed the lid and microwaved for 60 seconds. My first mistake was walking away from the microwave. I'll take that. 20 seconds in micro explosion! After cleaning all shell and yolk bits up I was still optimistic. Okay the picture on the box shows the egg actually loose in the container so I cracked the egg into the cup and placed it in the microwave for 60 seconds. Try two. This time we made it through the whole microwave cycle. Success! Sort of The egg was okay. Maybe I'm a little ahead of the curve I already make a version of scrambled eggs in the microwave mix eggs and milk herbs and cheese into a small bowl and microwave. Morning later I was willing to give it one more go. I cracked an egg into the cup put it in the microwave for 50 seconds maybe less time would equal a more alluring egg. I walked away from the microwave. Thirtyseconds in micro explosion. Whaaat? On the positive side my microwave is cleaner than it's ever been washing egg out of it three times in a day will lead to that and for a hair over $.
My Second One Works Great! I have two of these one for home & another for the RV. They work as intended. It may take a few over or undercooked eggs in order for you to determine the correct timing for your own microwave mine is 50 seconds but once you establish that it will work every time. Even a difference of 5 seconds will make the egg more or less firm. Just make sure the lid is securely screwed on or you will be cleaning up some splatter inside the microwave.
quick easy eggs I love this product. The eggs come out somewhere between poached and a hard boiled. Easy and quick. I have had one for years. When I found it on Amazon I ordered one for my daughter and each of my sisters. They love it too.
Not As useful As I First Thought The product works as advertised but after the intial trial or two I have not used it so basically I am saying save your money. but hey it's my fault for buying and not the product's fault. The item shipped right away and arrived early and works as advertised I just an not using it like I thought I would which is my fault not the company's or the products.

Norpro Grinder Mincer Pasta Maker easy to use meat grinder
Norpro Meat Grinder, Mincer, and Pasta Maker Read more... 3-in-one kitchen tool; minces, grinds, and makes fresh pasta from scratch Ideal for grinding hamburger, creating sausage or pate, and blending baby food Includes: coarse and fine mincing plates, sausage funnel, 3 pasta attachments Durable, hygienic, high-impact plastic body; stainless steel blade and mincing plates Stands 7 inches high; measures 4-1/4 inches in diameter; made in USA
easy to use meat grinder I wanted to have a meat grinder for some time and the reports about 'pink slime' finally made me buy this one. I was a bit worried that it might be flimsy or hard to use but it is a fine grinder. One can grind 3lbs of beef in just a few minutes without much effort. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend it. I have not used it as a pasta maker.
Good stuff Easy assemble and cleanfor meat and pastait is perfect it is a little bit stuck for chopping vegetables.
RECEIVED IT IN 3 DAYS FROM AMAZON EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. DIRECTIONS IN BOX. WORKS WELL. STAYS PLACED ON TABLE WHEN LOCKED. I BOUGHT IT TO GRIND MEAT HAM FOR HAM SALAD.
Plastic and cheap I bought this in hopes of having a cheap way to process a few lbs of deer at a time. The cheap plastic didn't even make it through 4 pounds the spindle started to sheer and leave plastic bits in the meat and then the blades completely stopped cutting and wouldn't even push the meat through the front. Terrible product if you plan to use for grinding meat.
Good for the two of use. MY Grandchild age 2 grinded chuck roest for burgers. If she can do itso can you.Clean up was fast.I just hope it last a long time!!!Yes I will buy one for my Ozella for her three boys and Pat # 2.
Great grinder This is a really good and easy to use meat grinder! It was easy to clean as well. Add the price and I'm veryimpressed by it.
Great product I looked into getting a meat grinder for my family in light of the pink slime in the news lately. I also can't find FRESH ground chicken in the grocery store. I looked at several different grinders. This one is very easy to use and clean up. Small enough to store easily and set up quickly. I've used it several times and it doesnt disappoint. Several pounds of meat are freshly ground in a matter of minutes. No metal shavings in the meat like some other grinders. I highly recommend this product.
Phenomenal grinder I had it for 6 months now and use occasionally once a month or so. This is a wonderful grinder. I use the coarse disk big holes and i tried beef and fatPro's Suction cap works great Handle is low effort even an eight years old girl was able to do it About 10 min to go through 45 lbs of chuck cut into 12 inch size cubes Simple assembly Small storage space PriceCon's Cleanup as any grinder too many pieces to clean. Takes another 510min Not too much details on what parts are dishwasher friendlyTips Let the meat get into room temp for about an hour Cut the meat into 12 inch size cubes If grinding meat and fat separately do the fat first as the meat will help with getting the fat residue out helpful for cleanupOverall this is probably my best purchase in 2011.
good with problems Smaller and lighter than I expected. Takes a STRONG grip to get it to lock to counter. A bigger nob is need. Need two hands to turn nob and one hand to hold it down ie two people. But it does stay stuck and does not move once locked. Once I put it together correctly we ground 8 pounds of lean beef pretty quickly with no problems. However trying to make pasta twice was a disaster and cleaning nightmare. I would not try to make pasta again.
Good for grinding meat Not so good for making pasta. I was a little wary because of some of the negative reviews. But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I mainly use it to grind pork to make dumpling stuffing. The unit handles well pork belly meat with quite a bit of sinew. The plastic parts seem sturdy enough to last a long while. I do cut the meat into small strips before grinding it.
